GSM S - Lone Worker Systems |
Overview
The ANT Telecom GSM S lone worker mobile phone has to be one of the most flexible lone worker devices available suitable for almost all different types of lone worker. It works off the GSM network ( Orange, 02, Vodafone etc) and therefore can operate anywhere in Europe providing it has coverage.
The handset has all the necessary functions to raise manual and automatic emergency alarm messages – panic button, tilt, no-motion and time check monitoring.
As the handsets work off the GSM networks and requires no central infrastructure for the units to work, this lone worker device is cost-effective even for a small number of users and suitable for lone workers working both on and off–site.
The handset itself is light but robust and acts very much like a mobile phone. It can receive calls and also make outgoing calls to two pre-determined destinations.
When an alarm is triggered (panic button, tilt etc) a message can be sent to a pre-determined mobile or for more high end solutions to a central PC. The Alarm Management Software (GSS) that handles those alarms also performs additional functions and features. These include, configuring the GSM S handsets and detailing the users location on either a site map or a road map depending whether the user is on or off-site.
