ANT Customer Event - 18th October 2007

This year ANT held their annual customer event at the Raceway Docklands.  We hoped the new event format would make the day informative and entertaining.  So the venue changed from West to East London, from Hotel to Go-Karting hospitality.   Our new venue had the fixtures and fittings of 5 a Star hotel including great service and conferencing facilities, plus the bonus of an indoor Go-Karting track taking an impressive 45 secs to get round.

We were very pleased to welcome back Roger Jones, Business Development Director, Avaya as our guest speaker to discuss SIP and how it can benefit companies now and in the future with cutting edge applications like CEBP.  This was followed by Klaus Allion MD, ANT Telecom, highlighting some niche and mainstream projects we’ve been working on in the last year.

The hot favourite to win the race event, ANT’s proud Go-Karting owner Pete Santarsiero, seemed to find it hard getting through the traffic during the heats and lined up back in 8th spot on the grid, in the final.  It was far too many places for him to make up and the final was won by the aggressive, “win at all cost” Gerry Attoe (ANT), cheating his way past Chris Potts (I’m not bitter) in the opening lap, before taking the lead laps later.

Drinks in the bar rounded off a good day.  We look forward to seeing everyone again next year and would like to thank Roger Jones who did an amazing job again as our guest speaker.

Product Leadership Awards 2007

The Avaya Tenovis Integral 55 takes home an award in the hybrid category. Ideal for branch locations or SMBs the Integral 55 is equipped for analogue, digital IP and DECT and promises top-notch flexibiity and functionality. The report continues that an impressive 73% of survey respondents rated Avaya's Integral 55 in good to excellent range for ease of maintenance and manageability, ease of upgrade to IP, and vendor survivability. A still more impressive 92% of readers scored Avaya's service and support well above average, and 72% felt confident they were getting a significant ROI.

Integral goes on and on and on

Avaya confirmed their long term strategy, which includes the Integral product family and various former Tenovis applications such as the Business Call Centre (BCC) and the Tenovis Unified Messaging Systems (UMS). In particular Avaya presented at the ANT User Forum the next software versions of the Integral 55 and included features. Furthermore, users learnt that the I55 will be further developed until at least 2017. Also users of the previous Integral 33 platform can benefit from new developments as their system can also be upgraded to the new Integral Linux platform.

ANT becomes Avaya Business Partner

Following the take over of Tenovis from Avaya ANT Telecom has been awarded Avaya Business Partner status and can now sell and maintain the Avaya Communication Manager platform next to the integral range. "We still see a huge potential of the Integral 55 in the UK market and will continue to actively promote this platform. Avaya has recently confirmed their long-term plan with the Integral range and former Tenovis applications. Taking on the Avaya Communication Manager further strengthens our portfolio and opens up even more opportunities for us and our customers," explains Paul Smith and Klaus Allion Manager Directors at ANT.
