With changing government policy and the increasing
need to manage greater traffic volumes, the requirement for efficient
toll collection is becoming a greater necessity.
ANT Telecom, using MobilPass technology, can provide a number of
solutions to meet this growing demand. Depending on traffic speeds
and volume, the system can not only register particular vehicles
that pass through, but check a number of other criteria as well.
Whilst the requirement for road tolling may be relatively new, particularly
in the UK, MobilPass projects have been in operation for a number
of years. They include:
Free Flow Multilane ETC Systems:
A555 field trial, Germany 1994
Project MobilPass Stuttgart, Germany 1994
Seoul City field trial, Korea 1996
UK field trial, 1996
Rekening Rijden, Netherlands 1998
